Perfect for you
These books are written for children, parents, guardians, teachers, reading specialists, ESL teachers, special education teachers, Speech and Language Pathologists, and anybody else who would like to have a great book to read.
Fun Learning
My new series can be used to teach vocabulary, concepts, rhyming, pronouns, sentence structure, and verbs. Learning pages are included in the books to provide ideas for answering questions about the text, identifying and naming pictures, asking questions, retelling the story, and thinking up new rhymes of your own.
Enjoy the books
The books can be enjoyed by all children and adults, I wrote them with specific children in mind who have difficulty learning or listening to long stories. Or for anybody reading to children who just want something quick to read, yet engaging and fun.
For children who have difficulty processing what they see, I used white letters on a blue background and have hidden pictures on each page to encourage visual scanning to find the pictures. Just my 27+ years as a Speech and Language Pathologist shining through my passion for writing childrens books.
My interests
Wondering what I do when I am not writing books? I was raised in Delaware and I am a mom, Speech and Language Pathologist, Early Childhood Educator, and now an author. My hobbies include landscape photography, reading, and creating rhymes. In my youth, I played tennis and swam for fun and competitively.

About the Illustrator
Mina Anguelova was born in 1988 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her favorite thing to do as a child was to draw the stories from the audiobooks she was constantly listening to. She dreamed of becoming an artist and bringing beauty into the world with her drawings. In 1992, her family migrated to Portugal and settled in a small town by the ocean called Cascais. There, she grew up drawing and studying guitar and piano.
In 2003, she went to study at Antonio Arroio’s art school in Lisbon. After that, she graduated in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts. After finishing the faculty, she started working in the illustration and animation field and continues to do so today. Mina is truly living her childhood dream.
